Hi Friends,

I’m delighted (scared, maybe?) to kick off a new feature on the substack this week.

It’s called Life Off-Script, my new audio journal.

I often get questions from people asking how I started this travel life I’m currently living. The “HOW?” question means many things to different people. How did I decide to do this? How did I even begin? Questions on the logistics of how I changed my job and home, and how I decide where to travel and live and how long. How I balance work and exploring and time zones. These are just some of the questions and topics I’ve chatted about with folks I know well and strangers I meet traveling who become friends and with readers of my substack. 

When I started outlining the questions to address them in posts on Pied À Terre Life, writing about it just seemed long. Then I looked into substacks audio capabilities and they are pretty great. So, I decided to give it a go.

I feel like with these particular topics audio offers a bit more and is more convenient for you, my listener. You can listen while commuting or out for your daily walk; while traveling, or doing the laundry. Wherever you feel called to plug in and hear a story.
